A simple exercise to loosen your feet muscles is to paddle your feet in contrary directions. You need to sit down for this exercise.

Stand on one foot and move the other one backwards in stretched out position. Now move the foot of the stretched out leg in circles. Repeat this exercise 5 times and switch to the other foot.
